Volunteering

Without Volunteers we wouldn't be here!

To become a rural fire brigade volunteer, you must be at least 16 years of age and be available for training and operations in the local area.  You'll need to be physically fit and ready for a commitment.

We are always looking for recruits for firefighter training but also support members to assist the brigade in radio operation, food provisioning, maintenence & commitee positions.

You will be asked to submit an application form to the brigade secretary & give permission for a Police Check to be done (18years & over only).

Forms are available from the brigade by phoning the station on 07 3289 4811.
